| Dr. Bruning holds an Undergraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and a Ph.D. in Arc/ Insulation Physics from the University of Missouri. Dr. Bruning taught, lectured and has authored dozens of papers pertaining to the aging and degradation of wiring insulation. He currently serves as the Chairman of IEEE's Thermal Life & Fire Hazard subcommittee to their Dielectric & Electrical Insulation Society as well as serving on the FAA's ATSRAC Task 3 Subcommittee. Dr. Bruning is considered one of the foremost experts on the causes and affects of electrical arcing and has applied this knowledge in the nuclear, utility, aerospace and automotive industries. |
