IASA
is very pleased to announce that our Chairman, Mrs. Lyn S
Romano, recently completed an inspection of the wiring aboard
the Space Shuttle "Discovery" at Kennedy Space Center.
NASA invited IASA to take this rare opportunity during the
Discovery's 20-24 month maintenance mode as well as watch
the launch of the Space Shuttle “Endeavor” Mission STS-111.
In
addition to carrying out a physical inspection of Discovery,
IASA had the opportunity to discuss their findings with senior
NASA officials. The inspection was the culmination of a series
of discussions between IASA and NASA that will now form part
of an ongoing dialogue between our respective organizations.
